FULL-THICKNESS MACULAR HOLE FORMATION FOLLOWING PANRETINAL PHOTOCOAGULATION FOR PROLIFERATIVE DIABETIC RETINOPATHY

Two patients developed full-thickness macular holes after panretinal photocoagulation for proliferative diabetic retinopathy. Surgical repair with vitrectomy was successful for both cases, though the link to the initial treatment remains unclear.
