Summary

Night shift work significantly worsens dry eye symptoms in hospital nurses, as measured by tear break-up time (TBUT) and ocular surface disease index (OSDI). Symptoms increase after night shifts, showing a clear correlation with reduced tear quality and increased disease severity.
