Prevalence of condylar morphological changes in individuals with class II malocclusion

This study examined mandibular condyle changes in Class II malocclusion patients with different facial types. While no significant differences were found overall, flattening was most common, particularly in dolichofacial patterns.

- Vertical facial patterns did not show statistically significant differences in the prevalence of degenerative TMJ changes in Class II malocclusion.
- Flattening was the most common morphological alteration observed.
- Further research could correlate TMJ changes with clinical characteristics.
