Abstract:
With the growing demand for sustainable energy storage and conversion devices in modern society, the development of new high-performance and environmentally friendly electrochemical materials has become a hot research topic. Biochar, as a carbon material prepared by pyrolysis of biomass, has received much attention due to its abundant sources, low cost and unique properties. Graphene, a prototypical two-dimensional carbon nanomaterial, is regarded as an ideal electrode material. As an agricultural waste, peanut shells are widely available and rich in lignin, and the multilayer graphene-like carbon nanosheets prepared from them show great potential for application in electrochemistry, which has become an important direction in the research of new electrochemical materials. In this paper, the research progress of peanut shell lignin-based multilayer graphene-like carbon nanosheets (peanut shell-derived carbon nanosheets PSCN) as new electrochemical materials is reviewed in detail. It describes the preparation method, analyzes the structure and performance characteristics of the multilayer graphene-like carbon nanosheets, discusses the current status of their application in the fields of supercapacitors and batteries, and looks forward to the future development trend and challenges, aiming at providing a reference to promote the further research and application of this new electrochemical material.
