This review summarizes the treatment status in Denmark for adults with cerebral palsy (CP) and proposes a clinical habilitation model. Currently, no public, tax-funded, specialized service exists. However, healthcare processes for adults with CP are highly complex, involving cerebral developmental disorders, multimorbidity, declining function, and frequent involvement of both social services and the healthcare system. A stepwise clinical habilitation model is introduced to systematize patient treatment and care, potentially inspiring clinical reasoning across all medical specialties.
