Abstract:
Ear piercings can lead to infectious complications, commonly involving Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa . This is the first documented case of bilateral chronic auricular chondritis caused by Actinomyces odontolyticus following cartilage piercings. This case highlights a uniquely morbid case necessitating interdisciplinary care and aggressive surgical intervention for resolution.
