[Subcutaneous sarcoidosis with systemic involvement: diagnosis and long-term evolution]

Sarcoidosis is a multisystemic disease that affects the skin in up to 35% of cases. Subcutaneous sarcoidosis is a specific, underdiagnosed, and infrequent manifestation that is associated with systemic involvement. This study describes the cases of three patients diagnosed with subcutaneous sarcoidosis associated with systemic involvement, with long-term follow-up. In all three cases, the cutaneous lesions were the primary reason for consultation, which led to the diagnosis of systemic sarcoidosis with pulmonary and lymph node involvement. Two of the patients experienced disease reactivation during follow-up, highlighting the potential for remission and exacerbation. Cutaneous manifestations are emphasized as key indicators for the early diagnosis of sarcoidosis and the necessity of continuous follow-up to monitor disease progression.
