Abstract:
This study evaluates the effectiveness of postoperative continuous care for breast cancer patients utilizing the E-Coach management model. A total of 120 breast cancer patients discharged from our hospital between January and June 2023 were selected and divided into two groups of 60 patients each through convenience sampling. The control group received conventional care, while the observation group was administered a continuous care model based on E-Coach case management. Upper limb function scores, health status perception, self-evaluation, and generalized anxiety scores were collected at one month and six months post-surgery. The results indicated that the scores of the observation group in these areas were significantly superior to those of the control group, suggesting that the E-Coach management model effectively enhances upper limb function rehabilitation, improves patients' health status perception and self-evaluation, and reduces anxiety in breast cancer patients following surgery.
