    Summary

    Routine cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) for sinus augmentation patients is recommended. This imaging detects common, often asymptomatic, sinus pathologies, improving surgical planning and reducing complications.

    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • Determine the prevalence of sinus pathologies in patients undergoing sinus augmentation.
    • Evaluate the necessity of routine preoperative CBCT imaging for these patients.
