Abstract:
A photoinduced ring-opening/oxidation tandem of cyclic amines without an external photocatalyst was developed and provided the corresponding 1,4-naphthoquinone-based amino benzaldehydes in good yields under mild conditions. Investigations indicated that this transformation process is by the tandem oxidation/ring-opening of cyclic amines under visible light (410 nm) irradiation.
