Abstract:
This article reviews the neuroimaging spectrum of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) and temporal lobe plus epilepsy (TLE+), emphasizing the anatomy, pathology, and imaging features critical to diagnosis and management. It covers mesial and lateral TLE subtypes, common epileptogenic lesions, normal variants, and the extended epileptogenic network. The review provides practical guidance for radiologists and clinicians, highlighting diagnostic pearls and pitfalls to optimize patient outcomes in drug-resistant epilepsy.
