Voluntary Abdominal Contraction During Prone Scapular Retraction Exercises

Voluntary abdominal contraction (VAC) minimally impacts scapular muscle activation during prone scapular retraction exercises (SREs). This suggests VAC may not be essential for enhancing neuromuscular control in shoulder rehabilitation programs.
