Abstract:
This paper reviews the theoretical origins of the concept "moxibustion applicable for heat syndrome", and explores its theoretical basis and application conditions. The theory of "moxibustion applicable for heat syndrome" has gained wide recognition in clinical practice, and is supported by abundant foundational theories, meridian theories, clinical evidence, and experimental data. In clinical application, it is necessary to first clarify the heat pattern and stage of the disease; second, attention should be paid to the sequence and dosage of moxibustion; and finally, a three-level intervention should be adopted after moxibustion to prevent recurrence or aggravation of heat manifestations. In the future, further research can explore the correlation between moxibustion dose, materials, and therapeutic efficacy, aiming to refine the boundaries of "applicable".
