Academic experiences must seek to get the best out of learners, maximizing performance and developing the skills and competencies needed to foster lifelong learning. Precision education is a novel approach to research and practice which is concerned with identifying and tailoring education to the precise needs of the learner. This study reports on the development and pilot of PAVE, a precision education intervention for health professions students that generates personalized reports based on validated self-directed and lifelong learning instruments. In a cohort of 59 learners, self-directed learning was strongly correlated with lifelong learning orientation, and academic level emerged as the key characteristic for early learner profiles. Although feasibility was demonstrated, challenges with automation and integration persist. Further work integrating AI and new data sources may improve reporting and support deeper, longitudinal profiles, paving the way for more effective, tailored academic interventions.

P-value
P-value stands for the probability value. P-value is the probability that, if the null hypothesis is true, the results from another randomly selected sample will be as extreme or more extreme as the results obtained from the given sample.
A large P-value calculated from the data indicates to not reject the null hypothesis. But a higher P-value does not mean that the null hypothesis is true. The smaller the P-value, the more unlikely...
