Abstract:
The synthesis of alkenylsilanes from alkenyl sulfonium salts with silanes through a visible-light-induced radical coupling reaction has been developed. This protocol has expanded the applications of the alkenyl sulfonium salts, achieving the synthesis of alkenylsilanes under metal-free photocatalytic conditions and affording products with E-selectivity in moderate to good yields.
