Summary

Cemented highly cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) acetabular bearings show good survivorship in hip resurfacing arthroplasty (HRA), with a 10-year survival rate of 93.5%. While some wear occurred, it was limited, making XLPE a viable option for HRA.
