Abstract:
Papillary fibroelastoma is a rare primary cardiac tumor with a benign histology. However, it can cause serious complications, primarily thromboembolism to the brain. Multimodal imaging is important for tumor detection, tissue characterization, assessing complications, planning surgery, and postoperative follow-up. In summary, multimodal imaging plays an essential role in managing papillary fibroelastoma and is crucial in determining interventional decisions.
