Abstract:
Melanoma progression involves multiple biomarkers and signaling pathways, and relying on a single marker can lead to incomplete or inaccurate diagnoses. Multi-analyte sensors allow simultaneous monitoring of several biomarkers, providing a more comprehensive picture of the tumor microenvironment, identifying distinct cellular states, and improving diagnostic accuracy. This chapter presents protocols that can be used for fluorescence sensing of the melanoma marker enzyme tyrosinase in conjunction with different In Vitro microenvironmental signals, including hypoxia and reactive oxygen species.
