[Experimental exacerbation of latent Q rickettsial infection]

The evidence of the prolonged persistence of Coxiella burnetii in experimental animals was obtained. Cyclophosphamide was shown to be capable of activating Q rickettsiosis in guinea pigs, and the period of the aggravation of this infection was found to be accompanied by a decrease in IgG concentration and a relative increase in IgM content.
