Abstract:
Recently, several reports have suggested that salicylazosulfapyridine causes a reduction in semen quality in patients with ulcerative colitis. After withdrawal of the drug pregnancies have been reported. The aim of this report is to offer additional data to the discussion on the deleterious effect of salicylazosulfapyridine on semen quality. Two case reports are presented with a review of the literature.
