Histocompatibility (HLA) antigens in keratoconus.

    Summary

    This study investigated the link between keratoconus susceptibility and the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) system. No significant association was found between HLA antigen frequencies in patients and controls, suggesting HLA does not influence keratoconus risk.

    Background:
