[Retroperitoneal lipoma: report of a case]

A case of retroperitoneal lipoma is reported. The patient came to our hospital with the complaint of an abdominal mass. The pathological finding was benign lipoma. The diagnosis, therapy and prognosis of 51 cases of the disease collected from the Japanese literature are reviewed.
