Tuberculosis of the prostate is a rare condition. In patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), prostate tuberculosis may be present and should be investigated through fluid analysis.

Prostate tuberculosis is uncommon, typically resulting from bloodstream spread or kidney infection.
Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) can predispose individuals to opportunistic infections, including tuberculosis.

Observation:

This report details two male patients with AIDS who presented with tuberculous prostatic abscesses found during post-mortem examinations.
One patient experienced mild urinary symptoms; neither showed prior signs of urogenital tuberculosis.

Findings:

Tuberculous abscesses in the prostate can occur in patients with AIDS.
Clinical presentation may be subtle, with limited or absent urogenital tuberculosis symptoms before death.
