Summary

Radiosurgery effectively treats brain stem vascular malformations, including arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) and angiographically occult vascular malformations (AOVMs). This technique offers a safe alternative to microsurgery, with high obliteration rates and no rehemorrhage in AOVMs post-treatment.
