Summary

Electrostimulation successfully achieved antegrade ejaculation in men with spinal cord injuries. Retrograde ejaculation also occurred in most cases, yielding a high sperm count, though sperm quality was reduced.

  • Five men with complete spinal cord injuries (C6-T10) and ejaculatory dysfunction underwent electrostimulation.
  • Antegrade ejaculation was achieved in all participants, with retrograde ejaculation in four.
  • Sperm counts were variable but generally higher in retrograde ejaculates; however, sperm morphology and motility were reduced.
