Performance of a self-directed work team in a home healthcare agency

With the current climate of downsizing and cost-cutting, maximizing employee performance is critical for organizational success. A self-directed work team structure was implemented with a group of staff in a large home healthcare agency in Northern California, with positive outcomes.
