Abstract:
This article reviews the technical issues faced when using any of several methods of MR angiography that are in widespread use today. Both time-of-flight and phase-contrast¿based techniques are addressed. Artifacts as a function of echo times, vessel contrast, and vessel contrast enhancement are key issues. Selective visualization of arteries or veins is discussed also.
