Abstract:
Urinary incontinence is a disorder with widely varying severity, patient symptoms, and etiologies. Urine loss can be because of reversible or irreversible systemic disease, abnormalities of urine storage, or voiding phase disorders. The optimal work up of an individual incontinence may include evaluation of neurologic, muscular, and urogenital systems, as well as medical, pharmaceutical, environmental, and psychosocial issues.
