Effect of single and double strap backpacks on lung function.

Summary
Student backpacks, even at 6 kg, can impair lung function. A single-strap backpack caused a greater reduction in lung capacity (Forced Vital Capacity) and airflow (Forced Expiratory Volume) compared to a double-strap design.

- Thirteen participants (4 males, 9 females) were recruited for the study.
