Longevity of teeth and implants - a systematic review

Summary

This systematic review found that tooth loss incidence ranged from 1.3% to 5% in long-term studies, while dental implant loss varied from 1% to 18%. Well-maintained patients experienced lower tooth loss than implant loss.
