This study looked at whether vitamin D, B12, and ferritin levels are different in people with chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) compared to the general population. Researchers used data from 282 CSU patients and compared it to UK population averages. They found that CSU patients had higher vitamin D levels but lower B12 levels than the general population. Male CSU patients also had lower ferritin levels than the general male population. These findings suggest a possible link between nutrient levels and CSU.
