This case report details a rare complication: extensive submacular hemorrhage following glaucoma surgery in a patient with occult choroidal neovascularization (CNVM). This highlights a potential risk in managing complex glaucoma cases.

Background:
- A patient with primary open-angle glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration with occult choroidal neovascular membrane (CNVM) underwent trabeculectomy with mitomycin C due to uncontrolled intraocular pressure.
