There is a growing need for nurses who have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to serve as faculty in schools of nursing. The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Faculty honors these nurses who are dedicated to ensuring that there will be a next generation of nurses to care for patients, families, and communities. Recognizing nursing faculty for their compassionate and clinically skilled care in the academic setting serves to retain and recruit inspirational nursing faculty for the benefit of all!
