To identify and compile best practices and strategies for nurse leaders nationwide.
To gather practical, often unpublished, initiatives from nurse leaders.
To make these collected resources accessible to the broader nursing community.

Main Methods:

A nationwide strategic initiative was conducted in 2022.
Two nationwide surveys were administered to nurse leaders.
Practice-led initiatives were collected and organized into a compendium.

Main Results:

Best practices and strategies for nurse leaders were identified.
A compendium of 7 sections was created, housing collected practice-led initiatives.
The compendium is now available on the AONL website.

Conclusions:
