Background:

The nursing profession faces a significant mental health crisis, with high rates of burnout and suicide.
A collaborative effort was initiated in Kentucky to address the well-being of its 90,000 nurses.

Purpose of the Study:

To describe the tangible outcomes of a multi-stakeholder collaboration focused on nurse suicide prevention and mental health.
To advance mental health and well-being initiatives for nurses in Kentucky.

Collaboration between the Kentucky Nurses Action Coalition, Kentucky Nurses Association, Kentucky Nursing Deans and Directors, and Kentucky Board of Nursing.
