Abstract:
Primary intramedullary spinal cord tumors are rare in both pediatric and adult patients. Surgical resection offers the best outcomes when safe and feasible; however, other treatment strategies are often needed. These represent a challenge due to lack of standard of care, largely due to rarity of these tumors.
