Abstract:
Social media and podcasts have become deeply embedded in the learning environment of anesthesia trainees, transforming how clinicians access emerging evidence, reinforce foundational knowledge, and connect with broader professional communities. This review examines the integration of these digital modalities into modern anesthesiology education, explores the cognitive and sociocultural learning theories that underpin their effectiveness, and evaluates both their educational advantages and the challenges they introduce. Together, these insights illustrate how digital platforms have reshaped lifelong learning and professional identity formation within the specialty.
