Minor forefoot amputation in patients with low ankle pressure

Abstract:
Ankle pressures were obtained using Doppler ultrasound in fifty-seven patients undergoing forefoot amputations. Contrary to other reports, no amputations healed with a pressure of less than 60 mm Hg.
